Sputter Coaters

AVBA offers the wide range of coaters made by Quorum Technologies. Our coaters may be sold in different cylinder diameter, with different pumping methods and with wide range of metals (Au, Pt, Cr, Ni. etc..) or with carbon sources.

Evaporatores

 AVBA offers the Quorum Technologies evaporators. Our evaporators allow the user to tailor a system to fulfil his current vacuum evaporation requirements and have the flexibility to easily up-graded at any time in the future.  Our evaporators enable SEM and TEM specimen preparation; for example, deposition of carbon support films, metal evaporation, preparation of replicas, shadowing, aperture cleaning etc. SEM sputter coating can be carried out by the addition of a very superior 'cool' sputter coating head and power supply.

Critical Point Dryer (CPD)

AVBA offers the Quorum Technologies CPDs. Our Critical Point Dryers combine versatility and ease of operation. Our range of CPDs include both Vertical and horizontal pressure chamber. Our systems give unequalled visibility of the critical point drying process and an unsurpassed view of the fluid level in the chamber.

Freeze Dryer

AVBA offers the Quorum Technologies Freeze Dryers systems. Our Freeze Dryers, operates at rotary pump vacuum using a 'peltier' thermoelectric stage, with drying temperatures of the order of -60oC or with turbomolecular pumping unit, backed by a rotary vacuum pump and can be operated at temperatures down -140oC. The lower temperatures are achieved by using a liquid nitrogen fed cold stage from a dewar on the unit, giving several hours holding time, which can be topped up by hand as required.

Cross Section polisher

The Cross Section Polisher is an easy-to-use, sample preparation device for SEM, EPMA, and SAM applications. Soft, hard, and composite samples can now be prepared with minimum sample damage, smearing or deformation. An ion beam mills cross sections in almost any material creating a clean, polished cross section with a large viewing area.
